The WhyUnite? Project Launches New Introductory Books and Videos
The materials include books, compilations, video talks and an interview series covering a wide spectrum of Bahá’í related topics
KIRKLAND, Washington – July 24th, 2013 – Greysands Media LLC announces the launch of the WhyUnite? Project, which includes a new library of compelling introductory material about the Baha’i Faith. The materials includes books, compilations, video talks, and a video interview series that together provide an array of options for exploring this exciting new world religion. There are three new introductory series being launched by WhyUnite?
The Many Paths Series introduces the ways people encounter this new world religion from a variety of backgrounds. It shows how this faith has deep and profound connections to many of the world’s great faiths including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and even many native faiths.
The Manifest Your Potential Series explores how people use the spiritual toolkit provided by the Baha’i Faith to create a better life for themselves and their communities. This toolkit includes modern beliefs about God and religion, practices such as prayer and meditation, and a unifying vision for bringing out the best in people.
The Making a Better World Series looks at how people can build a global community by implementing a comprehensive solution found within the Baha’i Faith for humanity’s troubles in this day. This solution includes teachings about working for peace, tolerance, justice, and the practice of using consultation and spiritual organization to help align Baha’is together in their efforts to serve humanity.
WhyUnite? is also launching two new video sets including a series of DVDs entitled Paths to the Baha’i Faith, that includes scores of interviews of Baha’is telling their own stories from a variety of religious, ethnic, and social backgrounds. The other set is a new series of talks about Living the Baha’i life that includes clips from numerous Baha’is offering their insights on how people practice this faith on a daily basis.
The author Nathan Thomas describes all these materials as “representing a whole new approach for introducing the Baha’i Faith to humanity. We wanted to create something different that was smart, fresh, and specifically targeted at meeting the needs of the people we encountered around us. We also wanted to offer a holistic presentation of the faith that takes into account the different ways that people learn and how they experience content across devices. We found quite a few amazing people who were willing to share their stories with us on camera, which greatly added to the depth and variety of the materials. We are really excited about what we’ve been able to create so far with the WhyUnite? Project, and we look forward to sharing these materials with the world.”
The materials are currently available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and on the WhyUnite? website, www.whyunite.com.
