About the Bahá’í Faith
The Bahá’í Faith was founded in the mid 1800’s and has since spread throughout the world. The Bahá’ís believe that all the religions of the world are part of one religion of God. It brings together people from every conceivable faith background with a modern and fresh approach to eternal spiritual realities. The Bahá’ís are given numerous tools and practices to bring out the best in themselves on a daily basis including prayer, meditation, and reflection. The Bahá’í Faith has formed a global community in which we can work on ourselves and improve our characters through service to others. And it provides a worldwide vision that works to bring all people together to work towards common aims.
The goals of the Bahá’í Faith are many. Bahá’ís work to spiritualize humanity from the grassroots up, one heart at a time. We strive together to achieve universal aspirations such as world peace, universal education, gender equality, race unity, prosperity and opportunity for all, and a healthy and balanced approach to life. The Bahá’í Faith offers a whole new way to organize religion that has no clergy or professional priestly class. It is an all-volunteer community dedicated to serving the needs of humanity.
